Peter and Fevronia Black Coffee Mug

Saints Peter and Fevronia of Murom are the most beloved patron saints of marriage and family life in the Orthodox Church. Prince Peter of Murom was healed of a grave illness by the humble peasant girl Fevronia, whose wisdom and holiness he came to recognise as a gift from God. Despite opposition from the boyars, he chose her as his wife and they ruled together with righteousness and compassion. At the end of their lives they both took monastic vows on the same day, fell asleep in the Lord on the same day, and were miraculously found buried together in a single tomb.
