Saint Nino's Cross

Prodajna cena£25.00

Saint Nino of Cappadocia is venerated as Equal to the Apostles for bringing Christianity to Georgia in the 4th century, carrying a cross she is said to have fashioned herself from vine branches and bound together with strands of her own hair. That same cross remains one of the most recognisable and deeply venerated symbols within Georgian Orthodoxy, kept to this day at Sioni Cathedral in Tbilisi and honoured throughout the monasteries she herself founded.

Why this cross:

  • Faithfully modelled on Saint Nino's original vine cross, among the most venerated symbols in Georgian Orthodoxy
  • Monastic sourced, connected to Georgian monastic tradition and Saint Nino's legacy at Samtavro Monastery, Mtskheta
  • A meaningful gift for baptisms, name days, and any Orthodox Christian devoted to Saint Nino
  • Part of our Monastic Collection — profits support our parish and our partner monasteries

A tangible connection to one of Orthodoxy's most beloved missionary saints.
