Large Myrrh Bottle

A premium, larger-format bottle of myrrh, monasticly sourced from Samtavro Monastery in Mtskheta, Georgia, the resting place of Saint Gabriel Urgebadze. Myrrh holds deep significance within Orthodox tradition, from its offering to Christ at His Nativity to its long association with saints whose relics are recorded to stream forth myrrh as a visible sign of sanctity. Where our standard Myrrh Bottle offers an everyday size, this larger bottle is crafted for a place of honour in your home icon corner, or for sharing with family.
