Once the icon is finished, we seal it with a Museum Wax layer for depth and protection, then set it into its frame ourselves before it's wrapped and sent on its way to you.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis icon depicts Christ enthroned in glory at the end of the age, the saints and angels gathered about Him, while the souls of the departed stand before Him to be separated according to the lives they have lived, the righteous gathered to His right hand and the unrighteous to His left. Scenes of paradise and of judgement are often shown side by side within the composition, a visual record of the parable Christ Himself gave concerning the sheep and the goats, in which the measure of judgement rests upon how each soul treated the hungry, the thirsty, the stranger, and the imprisoned.
